CONSTRUCTIVITY follows a specific process in conducting projects. This process makes sure that every customer expectation is met, and the project is successful for everyone involved. It has the following steps:
Initial Consultation
Develop and Present Designs
Develop and Present Project Plan and Cost Estimates
Complete the Project
Final Project Review and Acceptance
CONSTRUCTIVITY takes pride in both the process and the results, and believes that mutual agreement on expectations is the best way to a successful project conclusion. These steps as detailed below will help achieve success.
Initial Consultation. The process of working with CONSTRUCTIVITY begins with you contacting us for an initial consultation. During this meeting, all aspects of the customer's needs and ideas will be discussed and documented. CONSTRUCTIVITY will review the existing situation if a renovation or restoration is required, and determine what elements will need to be restored, rebuilt, or replaced with new work. If the work is for a new enhancement, CONSTRUCTIVITY will take careful measurements, make initial rough sketches, and review a range of options with the customer.
Develop and Present Designs. After sufficient information is gathered in the initial consultation, CONSTRUCTIVITY will prepare a detailed design for the project. If the work to be done is a relatively small and well-defined effort, this will be done at no cost to the customer. If the work to be done is more extensive, with a variety of options for the final design and implementation, CONSTRUCTIVITY will provide cost estimates and a schedule for the design process.
Develop and Present Project Plan and Cost Estimates. Once a detailed design is agreed to, CONSTRUCTIVITY will develop and present the project plan and cost estimates and schedules. At this point any final details can be sorted out. The project plan will have design details and specifications for the project, an estimated schedule, cost estimates, and completion criteria. The customer will sign off and the project will commence at an agreed time. Note that if the project is relatively small and well-defined, the project plan and cost estimates will be presented at the same time as the final design.
Complete the Project. CONSTRUCTIVITY will make best efforts to complete the project according to the agreed specifications, schedule, and cost, while recognizing that unplanned or unexpected events could change the overall project. If there are any major changes, these will be presented and discussed with the customer in detail. Changes will be agreed to and made part of a revised plan and cost estimate.
Final Project Review and Acceptance. When the project is complete CONSTRUCTIVITY will review all details of the project with the customer according to the project plan and completion criteria. Both will sign off on the project completion statement and the customer will make final payments to CONSTRUCTIVITY.
